Past Year's Highlights

I wanted to take a moment and share
some highlights with you of this past year
and what lies ahead before the
legislature reconvenes for its sixty (60)
day session in January.

The journey began with being sworn in on
January 12, 2009 surrounded by my
family, friends and colleagues.

Cap and Trade Bill

Legislation introduced this past session
took on a very ominous and intrusive
tone, especially under the guise of
"climate change" and "cap and trade".

I am convinced that these proposals, if
enacted, would place unelected
bureaucrats in the position of picking
winners and losers, undermine our
